University Counseling Center



The UCC offers individual, group and couples counseling, as well as crisis appointments and low-cost psychiatric medication management. These services help students resolve existing problems, prevent potential problems, and develop new skills that will enrich their lives.

Designated spaces, classes, equipment, and programs for physical exercise located at the Eccles Student Life Center.

RECOVERY AT THE U

Recovery at the U (RU) provides a safe, caring, and affirming space for students who are in recovery or are seeking recovery from substance use. We strive to foster a supportive recovery community where students can feel empowered, resourced, and engaged to achieve academic and personal success.

Training Grant Opportunities

Graduate students in the Molecular Biology, Biological Chemistry, and Neuroscience Programs are not required to secure independent funding to continue their education.

All PhD students admitted to the Molecular Biology Program and Biological Chemistry Program who remain in good academic standing receive financial support throughout their graduate training.

Veterans Support Center

Supporting military-connected students by cultivating a welcoming campus culture, enriching their educational experience, removing barriers, and unlocking their full academic, psychosocial, and career potential.

Financial Wellness Center

One-on-one coaching sessions, tax clinics, workshops, and other services designed to enhance students' understanding of the role of finance in their lives.

Basic Needs Collective

Resource referral hub connecting students to a network of campus and community resources that address challenges such as food insecurity, unstable housing, financial stress, and inadequate access to basic necessities.

Huntsman Mental Health Institute

Huntsman Mental Health Institute is part of a world-renowned academic health system working to transform mental health care through community, research, clinical, and education initiatives. 

Center for Community & Cultural Engagement 

Established in compliance with HB 261, the new Center for Cultural and Community Engagement will administer cultural education, celebration activities, and awareness programs.
